Touching God through Freedom in Worship
There are a number of things that we value in our Worship & Christian Arts Ministry. Creating an awareness of God’s presence is our main goal. What an opportunity to use the talent God has given us. When God has placed the joy of music in a person’s heart, it is always there.
We have the joy of offering ourselves and our talents to be used by God to bless others. If you have questions or would like to be involved in any capacity please contact Pastor Gordon.
CREATIVE ARTS
Express yourself to God in your own artistic way. Opportunities for flagging, dancing, painting, poetry, and other artistic expressions can be arranged.
DESIGN TEAM
This team meets regularly to brainstorm and implement creative elements into the auditorium decor and motif to exaggerate the themes of the current sermon series.
DRAMA
Opportunities to be involved in sketches and mini-dramas on a periodic basis for Sunday services, and other, large-scale events, such as our annual Easter Production, are a great way to use your gifts and meet new people.
LIGHTING
Use your visual abilities to create ambiance with our lighting system and other creative elements.
PROJECTION
This ministry provides audio-visual feeds, animated backgrounds, messages and notes on the large auditorium screens for Sunday services, weddings, funerals and special events of the church
SOUND
This team is charged with providing adequate sound amplification for all participants of all services of the church. This includes the Sunday services as well as any weekly service or special event.
SPECTRUM MEDIA (VIDEO)
This ministry is in its beginning stages and hopes to provide a video reproduction of the Sunday morning service for broadcast on a local TV Channel, as well as online, live-streaming in the near future. It also provides a signal of the weekly services to the Nursery room. In the near future, this service will provide video and/or DVD packages for church training sessions, seminars etc.
WORSHIP TEAMS
Skilled vocalists and instrumentalists with a passion for God and the Church work together to facilitate each worship experience at MGA, and to develop their abilities, in a regular rotation. Some with giftings in this area may offer their talents periodically for various special events.
