The cross remains the central message of the good news of Jesus. We will be celebrating its message today: a message of love, grace, faith, forgiveness, healing, power, and
commission. It requires so little on our part
to access the blessing of Christ in our personal lives. For many however, the journey of heart from skepticism to faith can be light years. It is my hope that all will travel that distance today.
The great commands are to love this God, and to love our neighbours. Since there is no service tonight, I would encourage you to connect with your neighbours. It may be a fire pit in your back yard, an invitation to your home, a walk together on the trails, a brief and friendly chat over the back fence, or a coffee at Tim’s place. Whatever it may be, may you enjoy loving the neighbours God has given you today!
